A few weeks ago, I publicly exposed myself as a former Lego™ aficionado. I confessed I had spent many hours sitting cross-legged on the floor with my young daughters, building all manner of fantastical edifices and “creatures”.
As my daughters grew into young women, my interest in Lego waned — until I recently received notice that Lego is now producing a series of build-it-yourself replicas of well-known art masterpieces. Wishing such sets were available when my kids were young, I shared the news with my social media friends and followers. In truth, I was shocked by the number of comments and messages I got back from fellow secret Lego devotees. And I realized I was onto something.
For all my fellow Lego fans, I’m therefore sharing these newest (at least to me) Lego offerings – red roses, floral arrangements, and even a Bonsai. Yup, now available just in time for Valentine’s Day and destined to last a lifetime. Check ‘em out.
We loved Lego as kids. Never had exactly the right parts for the dream as I recall. Perhaps they have rectified that....
