Good morning Phil, and thank you very much for this fabulous and thorough answer to my implied inquiry. Peter Swanson has told me the same. I am not as completely versed in social media as you are. Will I still find it writer friendly and easy to manipulate/grow/build? I appreciate your time! And any other author input as I get Underway!

If you're interested we post on Facebook Yachting Steadfast...and I'm seriously considering Substack as an outlet. Want to share your experience and opinion? Thanks!

I am a 15-year veteran of LinkedIn, Facebook, Medium, beBee, and Thrive Global. And Substack is the best platform I've been on ... for several reasons. Primarily, because Substack appears to honor its commitment to distribute 100% of an author's publishing to 100% of his or her subscribers 100% of the time. (What I call the "Distribution Trifecta." This is BIG!! Because all the others, notwithstanding their occasional representations to the contrary, use algorithms to control distribution (mostly to choke it down to 10% to 15% or less of your followers and subscribers). Secondarily, Substack not only cooperates in allowing an author to monetize his or her work, but actually encourages you to do so. That makes Substack the best option going ... as a base or self-publishing hub. IMO. Cheers!
