I used to spend hours cross-legged with my daughters indulging our shared passion for Lego building blocks. We built all kinds of projects, some resembling real buildings and vehicles and some rather fanciful creations. We made regular visits to Downtown Disney in Orlando, mostly to comb through the Lego store, where we bought a virtual mountain of unique Lego parts, so that we could design and build more exotic projects. And we even made a pilgrimage to the mecca of Lego culture at Lego Land in Carlsbad, California.
I had thought my Lego days were over — until I came across this series of Lego wall-art building kits. Normally, I wouldn’t share this sort of product here — but how cool are these representations of well known art works to build with your kids and family?
Love this one, Phil, it brought back memories of hours of Lego building with our two boys (now 23 & 26). Our older son has the huge tub full of Lego at his apartment and has given no indication of giving them up any time soon.
Have you and your daughters seen The Art of the Brick by Nathan Sawaya? It's extraordinary! https://fi.edu/en/exhibits-and-experiences/art-of-the-brick
